DNC Statement on the Chips and Science Act Anniversary

DNC Chair Ken Martin issued the following statement on the Chips and Science Act Anniversary:

“Three years ago, President Joe Biden signed the CHIPS and Science Act into law, a once-in-a-generation investment in America’s future that is revitalizing our manufacturing base, strengthening our national security, and positioning the United States to lead the world in innovation. After decades of watching critical industries shipped overseas, the CHIPS and Science Act is bringing semiconductor production back home and creating well-paying jobs in communities across the country.

“Donald Trump touts his ‘America First’ agenda but has nothing to show for it, especially as his economy continues to lose U.S.manufacturing jobs. So as we mark this anniversary, we recommit to building on this progress made by Democrats, to investing in American workers, defending our global competitiveness, and ensuring that the next century of innovation is Made in America.”
