Fresh off the heels of Democrats’ “Organizing Summer” campaign blitz announcement, the DNC is gearing up for the fall elections with a new, seven-figure investment into the New Jersey Democratic Coordinated Campaign. From now to Election Day, the DNC is throwing our full support behind ensuring New Jersey Democrats win big in 2025 — from holding the Governor’s mansion to the state assembly. 

This investment will: 

• Help the New Jersey coordinated campaign to continue to hire regional directors, organizers, and other key staff in order to talk to voters across the state 
• Fund voter contact efforts in the field
• Test new tactics and tools to ensure our message is resonating with voters across the state
• Expand our reach to key constituencies that we lost ground with in the November 2024 elections — such as Black, Latino and AANHPI voters who make up a large share of New Jersey’s population

With this investment, Garden Staters can rest assured that the DNC is laying the groundwork to elect strong Democratic leaders like Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, who will fight for working families, and send extreme Republicans packing by electing big majorities in the Statehouse.

“The Democratic National Committee says it will pour more than $1.5 million into this year’s New Jersey governor’s race, a rare cash infusion from the national party in the summer doldrums before the post-Labor Day sprint. …

“The investment from the D.N.C. will be earmarked for field staffing and ground-game efforts, in line with Mr. Martin’s focus on expanding the party’s organizational infrastructure in all 50 states this year. …

“The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has announced an initial $1.5 million investment in the New Jersey gubernatorial race, one of the only two gubernatorial contests this year. 

“The DNC said in a release that the investment will be one of the largest and earliest it has made to New Jersey Democrats during an offyear election cycle.
