DNC Launches Ad Campaign to Seniors Slamming Trump for Going After Social Security

In response to the DNC launching a digital ad campaign calling out the Trump administration for its plan to privatize Social Security, DNC Senior Advisor for Messaging, Mobilization, and Strategy Tim Hogan released the following statement:

“The Trump administration finally said the quiet part out loud: they’re going after Social Security. Apparently, kicking millions of Americans off their health care and taking food assistance away from kids and families wasn’t enough for Donald Trump — his administration admitted that their billionaire-first budget also includes a ‘backdoor’ to privatize Social Security. Democrats are fighting back against this grift and working to make sure every American knows just how much damage this administration is doing to their hard-earned benefits.”

The DNC is launching a digital ad campaign calling out Donald Trump for creating a “backdoor” to privatizing Social Security after promising he wouldn’t touch these hard-earned benefits — targeting seniors in Michigan, Maine, and New Hampshire on senior dating sites, online magazines, and YouTube channels.
